CAMDEN CRAWL LAUNCHES ‘VARIETY’ CLUB SERIES & EARLY BIRD 2012 WEEKEND TICKETS ON SALE 26TH OCTOBER
The 2012 Camden Crawl, scheduled for Friday 4th – Sunday 6th May, will be one of Olympic proportion. Upon entering its 11th year, the festival will stretch to three days over the first bank holiday weekend of next year with the addition of its brand new opening night extravaganza hosted on Friday 4th May. Also launching in conjunction with the build up to the 2012 event is the festival’s new bi-weekly club night, VARIETY the same day that early bird weekend tickets for the festival go on sale on 26th October.
“In consideration of the growth of Camden Crawl over the past few years, we made the decision to make fundamental changes to our PR and marketing infrastructure from 2012. As a small and overburdened festival team, we need to outsource to an agency that can not only provide the most straightforward solution in terms of communication and manageability, but has a strong creative edge and understands all the aspects of our event. Get Involved is able to provide such a full service model that completely fits our requirements and we are very much looking forward to havening them on board to manage all aspects of our PR and partnerships for the 2012 campaign.”

So the sun has finally set on what was undoubtedly Bestival’s best year ever. With stunning performances that spanned the great and the good from The Cure, Bjork, Pendulum, PJ Harvey, Brian Wilson, Oh Land, Graham Coxon, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, DJ Shadow, Zola Jesus, Wolf Gang and so many more it’s impossible to list them, now just the fondest of memories, it would be easy to get a bit down in the mouth but never fear, we have the perfect cure for the Bestival blues…
Early Bird tickets for Bestival 2012 go on sale at 9.00am on Friday 23rd September!
‘the curtain was brought down on festival season with theatrical aplomb’ Telegraph
‘the list of delights was near endless – such is the nature of the magical Bestival.’ Independent
‘Bestival is the granddaddy of the surrealist boutique festivals, and the first to expand to big-league status without losing its fantastical spirit.’ Guardian
Well, what can we say? The eighth Bestival is over but by golly it was the best yet. We didn’t know it was possible to cram that much fun into four days and we had an absolute corker of a time!
The days are flying by and as a wild weekend in our escapist world of wonder draws ever nearer we are extremely proud to announce that Bestival has sold out for the seventh year running! Lucky Bestivalites who managed to snap-up tickets for this year are in for a jaw-dropping four-day extravaganza of mind-melting magic!
With a glint in his eye and a spring in his step Rob da Bank said: “We’re mega proud to have sold out Bestival for the seventh year running. Selling 50,000 tickets for a 100% independent festival in the current climate is no mean feat but its all thanks to our wicked crowd of regulars and new Bestivalites and music lovers who have chosen to join us on the Isle of Wight in 3 weeks… Thanks for the support and see you in the magic meadows of Bestival!”
We are delighted to reveal the full entertainment line-up for the Madness House Of Fun Weekender.
Here’s what the band had to say about it…
“Life is a series of beautiful moments, this weekend is a moment in time where you can, we hope take some beautiful moments home with you. Please endeavour to introduce yourself to as many as possible, make new friends, dance, sing, laugh, give support, create joy, be decent, spread the love and most of all enjoy yourselves as much as you think is possible, you know it makes sense”
